Later in the evening join our guided half day tour to Cape Sounion and experience a breathtaking sunset at the unique temple of Poseidon, the God of the Seas in ancient times. Our tour starts with a wonderful drive along the Athens Rivera. During this relaxing ride with your luxury air-conditioned bus you’ll enjoy splendid views of the Saronic Gulf while passing through some of Athens’ most beautiful suburbs, including Hellinikon Olympic complex, Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, and Varkiza. Arriving at the Cape Sounion, you will visit the 5th century B.C. Temple of Poseidon with its magnificent panoramic view of the Aegean Sea (on a clear day you can see at least seven islands).

You will have breakfast at the hotel and from the Acropolis to Omonia Square, you'll see with this full day trip all the famous sites of ancient and modern Athens. Offering a perfect overview of the modern city, this guided tour will help you get your bearings if this is your first visit to Athens.

The Athens full-day tour departs for a photo stop at Panathinaiko Stadium where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896. Proceed, passing by Zappeion and Temple of Olympian Zeus. You will then drive past the Athens Trilogy which includes the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library.

Continue passing by National Garden, Hadrian’s Arc, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Schliemann’s House (Numismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Old Parliament, Constitution Square, Russian Orthodox Church, and finally ACROPOLIS.

Continue the expert-guided Athens sightseeing and Acropolis museum one day tour with a pleasant short walk passing by Herodion and Dionysos Theater, in order to visit the ACROPOLIS museum. Avoid and skip the lines of the new museum. Main attractions such as votives, statues from archaic period, Caryatids, and of course the Parthenon hall with the metopes, the pediments and the frieze will impress you. After a morning tour full of images continue in a local restaurant under the slopes of Acropolis for lunch.

After lunch depart for a wonderful drive along the scenic coastal road which affords a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf, passing through some of Athens most beautiful suburbs (Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, Varkiza) to CAPE SOUNION. Cape Sounion is only 45 miles (70 kilometers) from Athens, making it the perfect lazy afternoon tour destination. The Cape's Temple of Poseidon is perched on a rocky hilltop overlooking the sea. The view across the Aegean is magnificent with one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the world, extending all the way to Kea and the Peloponnese on a clear day. The Temple of Poseidon was built in 44 B.C., and many of its original Doric columns are still standing. One of the columns has a graffiti left by none other than Lord Byron in the early 1800s. The precipice is a sheer 197-foot drop to the sea.

After breakfast depart for Santorini. The cruise starts from Vlychada port at 14:45 and sails along the coastline to reach its first stop at the Red Beach area where guests can swim and snorkel for 30 minutes. Next stop is the White Beach where the guests can enjoy swimming and snorkeling for 1 hour and 30 minutes while the BBQ menu is being prepared by the crew. Then the tour continues sailing below the Indian Rock, the ancient Lighthouse, Akrotiri and the Aspronisi island in order to reach the third stop, the Hot Springs, and the guests can also swim in this stop for 30 minutes. Reaching the end of the tour, sailing below the caldera towards Oia in order to watch the sunset just outside Ammoudi port below the Oia village. The tour ends in Ammoudi port.

Enjoy a wonderful and relaxing way to sail along Santorini, admiring the unique beauty of Caldera, with a traditional wooden boat, to a scheduled Day Cruise. Starting with sailing along our beautiful coastline, swimming at the Red Beach, admire the black and red rocky background, the White Beach, and the big Light House. Enchanted by the imposing beauty of the Volcano, one of the most famous sceneries of the world, stands lofty in the middle of Caldera. Swim at the Hot Springs, the warm volcanic waters with the therapeutic properties. We will sail to Thirassia Island where you can enjoy swimming and meal.
