ITINERARY

DAY 01 : ARRIVAL ALMATY & VISIT ALMATY LAKE

Upon arriving at Almaty International Airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Almaty. Check-in at the hotel and rest for a while.

At 3:00 p.m visit the best place to see around Almaty 100 % guarantee!We will see a beautiful Almaty lake, located on 2500 meters above the sea, learn its history and the mountains surrounding it. Walk around it and look from different sides. Walk around and see lake from different points.Total tour durations depends on city traffic.Also we can include in this tour Shymbulak or Almarasan by request.

DAY 02 - AKTAU MOUNTAINS-KATUTAU MOUNTAINS-BASHY VILLAGE (B,L,D)

After breakfast check out from Almaty hotel at 8 a.m. A guide will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby. After meeting we begin the tour in a comfortable SUV.  Head towards Konaev City. The first destination is Basshi village. The journey from Almaty takes an average of 4 hours. On the way we see Kazakh " Las Vegas" and taste the Kazakh cheese "Kurt". At 12 noon We check into a hotel and have lunch in the village.

After Lunch at 1 p.m. Lifeless landscapes of the Cretaceous Aktau Mountains await us, the road to which passes through the salt marshes and takes about 1.5 hours. The guide tells the story of the appearance of the Martian landscape and lead through the most beautiful places of the mountains.

At 5 p.m. After the hike, we drive to the hotel. On the way, we visit the harsh mountains of Katutau with sculptures made by nature and the 700-year-old Yiwu where we get drunken spring water. 7 p.m. We have dinner at the hotel. In the evening, you can walk around the village and get to know the locals. Overnight at Basshy village hotel or similar.

DAY 03 - SINGING DUNE-CHARYN CANYON-SATY VILLAGE (B,L,D)

We wake up early at 6 a.m., take a early breakfast and get to the Singing Dune. Off-road driving takes one hour. If we are lucky, we will see Red Book wild animals going to a watering place. 7:30 a.m. That day we will have a breakfast at the foot of the Singing Dune. The guide makes coffee and tells you where the sand came from. 8 a.m. To enjoy a bird's eye view of untouched nature, we climb to the very top of the Barkhan and slide down to listen to the mysterious singing.

Then we have a 3.5 hour journey to the city of Chunji, where we enjoy lunch. 2 p.m. After a hearty lunch, we will be waiting for the " Castle Valley" canyon in the Charyn National Nature Park.

Here we visit panoramic views of the canyon, walk 3 km into the canyon and listen to the roar of the Charyn River. The guide shows all the most beautiful corners of the « Valley of Castles» and tells its story. We have some tea near the river and go back to the parking lot. 6 p.m. The road through the passes to the village of Saty takes 1.5 hours. Overnight at Saty village Guest House or similar.

DAY 04: LAKE KAINDY-KOLSAI LAKE (B,L)

Have a hearty breakfast at 7 a.m. Your adventure tour begins with at 8 a.m. We have to drive 12 km off-road to see the miracle of Kungei Alatau Lake Kaindy. On the lake we go camping and visit 3 points from which it is the best opportunity to see the lake.

At 1:30 a.m. We move from Lake Kaindy to Lake Kolsai, the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Here you have 2 hours of free time. On the lake you can rent a boat and enjoy the views of the mountains from the water. You can climb a mountain with an excellent panoramic view of the lake or go around the lake around.

​

In the village at 2 p.m.of Saty we try a traditional Kazakh lunch after which we return to Almaty. On the way, we stop at the steep cliffs of the Charyn canyon and a roadside bazaar in the village of Baiseit. The tour ends at 7 p.m and you will be dropped back to the hotel.

DAY 05 : MEDEU AND SHYMBULAK SKI RESORT (B)

After breakfast disembark to Discover the dramatic natural surroundings from the city of Almaty on this half day private tour 5-7 hrs). Visit the Medeo skating rink and the popular Shymbulak ski resort. Embark on a cable car ride through the gorge, taking in the stunning natural scenery. From mountains, lush forests, rivers and canyons, the area around Almaty boasts plenty of natural wonders.

Medeu Skating Rink and Ski resort is famous skating rink where hundreds of world records were set. Located in 20 mins drive from Almaty city center and surrounded by high peaks of Trans Ili Alatau mountains this place became a must-see.

Shymbulak is one of the most modern and professional ski resorts of Asia. We will lift up by cable car to an altitude of 3200m above sea level. Astonishing mountain views will create an unforgettable impression for you. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 06 : ALMATY CITY TOUR  (B)

After breakfast we will start our Almaty city tour by 9:30 a.m. We will visit most interesting sights in Almaty. Park 28 heroes.The park dedicated to World War II.There a lots of different monuments dedicated to World War II. Green bazaar. (Long time ago there was famous silk way ) Where you can buy or try Kazakh souvenirs, fruits , horse milk and other interesting stuff.

The Museum of Almaty (we will travel from the scifs or saks time to now days and learn about kazakh culture). The monument of independence (square where kazakhstan got its independence). There also some interesting monuments that displays the history of Kazakhstan. Medeo (unique ice rink which located 1500 meters above the see level).

Late in the evening you will be dropped to the airport for your return journey with the impressions of the tour stay in your memory for many years.
